47 State Veterans Home and Hospital Concert Tour 2013
Hello, my name is Frank
Trujillo and I am an Elvis impersonator. I love to do shows anytime I can. I enjoy
making people laugh, giving them a good time, and providing them with fun
memories. However, it has always been a dream of mine to be the first Elvis
impersonator to do a United
States tour for our veterans free. It is something
I have wanted to do for so long. Our Veterans fought for our Country and
Freedom, and I want to give back and show them I think they are very special.
I have done two shows
already here in the Salt Lake City, Utah Veterans Hospital and one in Ogden Utah. I
feel terrible when I see how the war has hurt their bodies and souls, and to
see them in nursing homes and Hospitals waiting to die. I would like to try and
entertain them and make them feel that we have not forgotten them for what they
have done for our Country.
I currently work as a drain
and sewer cleaner here in Salt Lake
City, Utah and work
hard to make a living but it is difficult because it's just me against all the
larger Companies around the valley. I am trying to raise money for Gas to get
to all 47 States to do my shows and am asking for some help to make my wish
come true to give back to the Veterans, and provide some happiness in their
lives for at least an hour and a half.
I recently purchased a newly
used 36 foot motor home to get me to all the shows across the country and would
like to start my April 13, 2013. However, with the cost of gas rising in the United States all
the time, my dream of making this tour becomes very expensive, and hard to
achieve. I am asking for your assistance in making this dream come true for our
Veterans by donating money, or credit gift cards to purchase the gas it would
take to get to all 47 states. By doing this, I would be happy to help advertise
for your company with logo stickers etc. on my bus and to let the Veterans know
that we all do care, and appreciate all that they have sacrificed for our
Country.
