DEADLINE to Send Christmas Cards to the Troops

6 December 2013 deadline is approaching to send your Christmas cards (NO packages) to our troops. The items will be forwarded to our troops! Hope you will participate and Have a great week!

The Red Cross provides these additional guidelines for sending cards to service members:

• Ensure that all cards are signed.
• Use generic salutations such as "Dear Service Member." Cards addressed to specific individuals can not be delivered through this program.
• Only cards are being accepted. Do not send letters.
• Do not include email or home addresses on the cards, as the program is not meant to foster pen pal relationships.
• Do not include inserts of any kind, including photos, as these items will be removed during the reviewing process.
• Please refrain from choosing cards with glitter or using loose glitter as it can aggravate health issues of ill and injured warriors.
• If you are mailing a large quantity of cards, please bundle them and place them in large mailing envelopes or flat rate postal shipping boxes. Each card does not need its own envelope, as envelopes will be removed from all cards before distribution.

Barstow California Veteran's Home Concert

On Saturday 12 October, I had the pleasure of performing for the Veterans and their family and staff of the Barstow Care center.  They were a very excited and enthusiastic crowd who are big fans of Elvis. I would like to thank them for letting me to pay tribute to Elvis and perform for them and hope I can to return some day.

US VETERANS TOUR TO BARSTOW CALIFORNIA VETS HOME

Elvis Fans, I'm gasing up the US Veterans Tour bus and going on the road to Barstow California this week to put on a concert for our veterans there.

This week I had a successful concert at the Port Orchard, Washington Veteran's Home. The staff and veterans were a fun and friendly crowd! I want to thank all of them for their warm welcome.

Oregon Veteran's Home Performance

This week I had 2 successful free Veteran's concerts, the first was in the Dalles, Oregon Veteran's Home. Thanks to the staff and veterans who were a gracious and enthusiactic crowd! I want them to know how thankful I am to meet all of them.

Concert for our Veterans ~ Oregon & Washington

I am continuing my free Veteran's concerts this month by performing at Veterans homes in Dalles, Oregon and Port Orchard, Washington.
